Sent By Ravens was formed in January 2006 by Jamie (bass), Andy (guitar) and Zach (vocals). But it wasn't until September 2007
that they "hit the scene." In August 2007 after searching for a drummer, the band found Dane (drums) through a video he posted
of himself on YouTube. Impressed by his drumming in the video, he was invited to the band. The new drummer recommended JJ
(guitar) to the band as another guitar player, he and JJ having been lifelong friends.
In 2009 the band signed to the major record label, Tooth & Nail Records. This is the same label of such bands as Underoath,
Emery, Hawk Nelson, Thousand Foot Krutch, FM Static, and Family Force 5.
