Rwake is a doom metal band from Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, that began as a jamming four-piece in 1996. The band was originally called Wake.They began touring in July 2002, and have released one demo, Xenoglossalgia: The Last Stage of Awareness, and three albums, Absence Due to Projection, Hell is a Door to the Sun, and If You Walk Before You Crawl, You Crawl Before You Die. They have also been featured on many samplers and compilations.The band has opened once for The Misfits, but generally open for bands in their genre and success levels.
