An underground hop-hop duo from Canada, Red Ants was formed in 2002 on Toronto's East Side by high school friends
MCModulok and Predaking, two aspiring rappers and the creators of the hip-hop publication Twisted Linguistiks. Sometime
laterthey met up with producer Vincent Price, aka Vinnie P, who then became the third member of the group. However, in
2004Predaking was sent to prison and Red Ants became a duo once again. In 2005 their debut album Phobos Deimos was
releasedwhich became popular on the underground circuit. After a few years of touring they released their second album,
Omega Point,in 2008.
