Recoil

Alan Wilder was a member of various group in the late 70s/early 80s ('Daphne And The Tenderspots', 'The Hitmen') before being hired as a member of Depeche Mode in 1982. After leaving them in 1996, his side project 'Recoil' was given all his time. Combining his years of experience in arranging and composing electronic tracks, Alan introduced a trip-hop feeling to the project, as well as various guest vocalists, and produced the albums '1 + 2', 'Hydrology', 'Bloodline', 'Unsound Methods', 'Liquid' and 'subHuman'. 'Selected' is his latest offering, consisting of songs from previous albums chosen by Alan himself.
