Priestess is a hard rock/stoner rock band formed in Montreal, Canada, in 2003. The band was formed by lead guitarist/lead vocalist Mikey Heppner,
after the desmise of his punk outfit The Dropouts (who went on to form The Stills), putting together a quartet of like-minded musicians. The band
plays a throw-back style of 'stoner rock', taking influence from Black Sabbath and the like, while retaining progressive qualities throughout their
recordings. As of 2010, the band has released two full-length LPs: 2006's Hello Master and 2009's Prior to the Fire.
