A year spent writing and recording new material will culminate in the release of Home Truths, with the single and accompanying music video showcasing firsthand the bands newfound intensity.
Vocalist Tom Kiely spoke about the process behind the new song and what to expect from the EP: “Where To From Here was a song written at the cross roads,” he explains. “Going through the early stages of having a family member deal with a life-altering illness. The song kind of works through those emotions, going back and forth between hope and despair when it feels hard to find a way forward”
“There’s definitely mixed emotions behind the songs on this EP, and we wanted to just be honest with ourselves and see what came of it. There’s frustration, anger and sadness, but also a lot of resilience and conviction. We wanted to inject ourselves into the songs like never before and really find our sound as a band – I think we’ve been able to do that”.
