Hailing from the south suburbs of Chicago, Osay started singing at a young age and soon picked up rapping and freestyling after being inspired by lyricists such as Biggie Smalls and Eminem.
Her music career started in 2016. During this time, she started dropping freestyles on social media and was recruited to ghost write for several artists. From that experience, she decided to pursue her own music career.

After Mean Streets, she spent 2 years in artist development polishing her sound by fusing her love of 90s/2000s r&b and hip-hop with today's musical landscape.
