Moriah Woods began playing classical music at the age of five and continued through her high school years. She began exploring the country in
2007 and discovered the musicians of the streets in Western United States. She became inspired and immersed in traveling and performing
random instruments with underground folk punk and jug bands. Upon her return home to the mountains of Colorado in 2009, she picked up the
guitar and began writing her own songs. the banjo was later added to the creative mix. Her classical background mixed with street folk, old-
time American classics and a knack for authentic self expression creates a very modern yet rustic musical sound.
