Mississippi John Hurt

Delta/Piedmont Blues legend who recorded some vitally influential works for Okeh in the 1920's before disappearing off the face of the earth fordecades later seemingly for good, although he returned to the spotlight in the early '60s with loads of material ready for release. Unfortunately, most of it was posthumous, as he died on November 2, 1966.
