Minerva is a German progressive/artrock rock band formed in Potsdam in December 2008 by Enrico Semler (vocals), Jan
Waterstradt (guitar), Ron Hermann (base), Martin Mann (drums). After playing various shows they released their first EP "Stories
Of A Journeyman" in April 2010.The EP has a hard rock sound with elements of stoner, psychedelic and jazz music. In 2011 they
decided to go on without Ron and Enrico took over the bass. Also the saxophone player Benjamin Ihnow joined the band. So
their sound became more funky and the jazz elements increased. In 2013 they released their first LP called "Germinal" on vinyl
which is a concept album dealing with the industrial revolution.
