Mest were one of the popular pop-punk bands of the current millennium. The band formed in 1996 in Chicago, Illinois by the Lovato cousins Tony (guitar, vocals) and Matt (bass). Other members were Steve Lovato (guitar) and Nick Gigler (drums). Steve Lovato left the band in 1999 and was replaced by guitarist Jeremiah Rangel. They have been touring with other famous pop-punk bands Goldinger and Good Charlotte. In 2006, the band has decided to break after 10 years of activity.
