From Cacophony, through all the years with Megadeth to his latest solo album, Marty Friedman has proven himself to be an extremely talented guitarist. His style displays great versatility. He has done shred metal as well as slow romantic ballads. Working with the legendary guitarist Jason Becker in his early years, then later joining Megadeth and play alongside Dave Mustaine, Friedman has proven his talent. Even in the most speedy of songs, he is always able to keep his music melodic. His solo albums show that he is a very talented songwriter and composer as well. Marty has rightfully earned his place in guitar history.
