Laika is a screamo-math band hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Guitar/vocals - Mike Brown, Fretless Bass - Paul Heitert,
Drums/vocals - Jack Middeke.
Their compositions are a mathy complex combination of fierce polyrhythmic guitar tapping, expressive fretless bass licks, and
frantic intense drumming, all being led by deep growled scream vocals. Their self-produced debut [self]release, "The Brother,
The Solace, The Pariah, The Father" is a tale of a series of emotional events seen from all the participants perspectives.
