Kroda (Ukrainian Крода) is a "HelCarpathian black metal" band from Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.Kroda was formed in 2003 by two members, living in different Ukrainian towns, Eisenslav from Dnipropetrovsk and Viterzgir from Lviv.Theirlyrics touch the themes of nature, paganism, and history. For this reason, some tag Kroda's music as pagan folk black metal. It iswell-knownthat the members of the band are involved in far right-wing political circles, and it can be seen in many of the bands lyrics,especially on thefirst two albums.
