Kobong is a experimental/progressive metal band from Poland. Their sound was was actually pretty ahead for their time, but nonetheless their albums never picked up traction outside of Poland. Knowing this, they disbanded in 1997, after their second album. Some members went to create the band Neuma. Some debate how the band never went mainstream, but the biggest factor seems to be the fact that it's Polish and furthermore more difficult to find.
