Kill It Kid (sometimes shortened to KIK) are a four piece British band from Bath who formed in 2008. They are signed to London Indie label One Little Indian Records[1] whose roster includes Bjork and Skunk Anansie. The genre has been described as Americana/Blues/Rock. The band have a unique sound, their line-up including slide guitar, a lot of fiddle and at times banjo. After two successful single releases they released their self titled debut album in October 2009. Kill it Kid have widely been recognized as one of the best new acts of 2009, with magazines such as NME and Clash rating the debut album 8 and 9 out of 10 respectively. Their videos have had over 200,000 views on YouTube.
