Jerrald King "Jerry" Goldsmith (February 10, 1929 – July 21, 2004) was an American film score composer from Los Angeles,
California. He won four Emmy Awards, an Oscar for The Omen, and was nominated for 17 other Oscars. He worked in various
film and television genres, but is prominently associated with action, suspense sci-fi, and horror films.
