Jahcoozi is England-born, Sri Lankan leader Sasha Perera (vocals), backed by two producers slash jacks of all trades: Teuton Robot Koch and Isreal-born Oren Gerlitz.
The trio started on Kitty-O, releasing both their 'Black Barbie' EP and 'Pure Breed Mongrel' LP in 2005. Two years latel 'Blitz N Ass' was out on the rather obscure A-sound/Bubbles imprint. They have since switched to Ellen Allien's much praised Bpitch Control label for their sophomore effort, 2010's 'Barefoot Wandered', after releasing a 10' EP for their Barbed Wire single on Citizen records.
