Indukti is a band out of Poland that has been around for awhile now. During that time they played many concerts but did not release an
album until September 2005. The debut album, intitled S.U.S.A.R., blends a mix of metal with progressive as well as a bit of sludge metal
into 7 songs that average to about six to seven minutes in length. Perhaps the most interesting part of their compositions is the Violin
playing which is used as a primary insturment just like a guitar or a piano. The Violin works very well to create an ambient sound as well as
many quick and vigorous passages and it often stands out above the other insturments. The drums are always solid and the bass is almost
always loud and brooding but never overdone. The two guitars work together: one often creating a melody above the other's metal chords.
The Band often uses electronic effects as well, not just the standard flanger and phaser or distortion, even in the bass. Although primarily
insturmental, the band has Mariusz Duda of Riverside to sing on two tracks. The band is scheduled to play NEARfest in June of '07.
