Ilinois based Impetigo were a grind/death metal band whose music and lyrical content was higly influenced by classic horror movies from the 60's and 70's. the band are often cited as highly influential within the extreme metal scene and are also noted for being one of the first bands to utilise horror movie samples and other media as intros to their tracks.Years Active: 1987 - 1993
