Formed in 1998, Manchester's Homelife are not necessarily a band, but more of a collective of like-minded musicians. Signed to the Ninja Tune label, Homelife has seen various lineups throughout its existence, with multi-instrumentalist Paddy Steer being the main constant member. Their musical style involves a fusion of downtempo, nu jazz and pop, fitting in nicely within early Ninja Tune's catalogue.
