Starting off as a Maximum The Hormone cover band in high school, HANABIE. continued to progress writing metalcore infused songs with influences ranging from thrash metal to EDM and pop with both Yukina and Matsuri taking over screaming and clean vocal duties respectively. As of 2023 HANABIE. had already recorded an EP and a debut. They later went on to sign a contract with Epic Records Japan and have released their sophomore album Raise Wa Ijin!/Reborn Superstar!, with over 3 million views on youtube for the lead single お先に失礼します (Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now) which was uploaded earlier that year.
