Gravestone was a German band formed in 1977. They started as a progressive rock band before leading into the heavy metal scene. Gravestone released five albums between 1977 and 1986 before splitting-up. Various members of the band formed then 48 Crash, and guitarist Mathias Dieth joined U.D.O. were he released 4 albums.
