Goldie Lookin Chain, better know as the GLC, are a Welsh 9 piece rap group from South Wales, U.K. Their music is often considered humorous but controversial, and often reflects Newport, the town they grew up in. Their raps also inlcude slang used in South Wales, sych as "clart" which means friend/homie/dude. The group has 9 consistent members which bare quirky names like "2hats", "Adam Huissain", "Mike Balls", and "Maggot." The group have released two studio albums to the public, and many albums locally. Plans for the band to make a movie have also been made. The movie is set to be released in 2007. In 2006, Maggot appeared in celebrity big brother and did very well coming third.
