Go Run Donkey Hot! (GRDH!) is a post-rock band that formed in Croatia in the winter of 2013. Originally from Nasice, currently based in Zagreb. Their music is characterized by noise and ambient elements that are filled with nonchalant dreamy melodies which tend to pour into dim guitar riffs accompanied by trumpet, which then give base for a rhythm section. While they state their main influences as local bands Kukuriku Street, Caffe ‘Aparat’ and Portman, others have compared them to bands like Mogwai, American Football or even Tortoise.

In summer 2015 they recorded their debut studio album 'Summerth' at Kramasonik Studio in Zagreb, under tutelage of renowned producer and recording engineer Hrvoje Niksic. The album was released on January 24, 2016. The entirety of the album was recorded in two days and most of the instruments were recorded live in order to achieve cohesive dynamics and an overall genuine sound. « hide
