Florent Marchet

    Florent Marchet is a french singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who already released four really different albums under his own name. His tales of misfits and losers in the current french society are refreshingly honest and painfully moving, while the intricacy of his compositions and melodies keep his releases engaging from beginning to end. His versatility, from the pop songwriting and detailed production of Gargilesse (2005) and Courchevel (2010) to the layered orchestral arrangements of Rio Baril (2007) and more synth- driven Bambi Galaxy (2014), is also incredible. He works with writer Arnaud Cathrine on a number of crossover projects between literature and music, most notably the socially aware and politically charged Frère animal, whose new release Second tour will be published in the fall of 2016. « hide
