Exploring Birdsong is a guitar-free progressive rock band formed in September 2017 in Liverpool, England, by drummer Matt Harrison, singer and pianist Lynsey Ward, and bassist and keyboardist Jonny Knight. Instead of guitars, they use piano, synth, and bass to create densely layered and melodic music. The band signed with Long Beach Records in September 2019 and released their debut EP, The Thing With Feathers, that November, followed by their second EP, Dancing in the Face of Danger, in March 2023. In June 2026, they released their debut studio album, Every House We Built.
