Escape the Day was a post-rock band, formed by Florian and Lars in Berlin, Germany in 2003. Their music combined acoustic and ambient elements to create a unique sound. Their debut album , Ghostless, was supposed to be released in 2005, but due to Florian committing suicide in the same year, remaining member Lars decided to disband the band. Ghostless was "forever dedicated to the love and memory of Florian".
