Drone is a Danish progressive pop-rock band from Denmark based in Hamburg.
Since the debut EP “Misanthropia” was released in 2007 the members Rasmus Sjøgren, Morten Nygaard, Asbjørn Jensen and Rasmus Cederlund developede the musical style from atmospheric and electronically inspired to a now more hard-hitting and ambitious expression á la King Crimson, Nine Inch Nails, Porcupine Tree, Tool, Nirvana and the early Genesis. The songs on the album are written by leadsinger and guitarist Rasmus Sjøgren.
