Donald Romain Davis (Don Davis) is an American film score composer, conductor, and orchestrator. He is best known for his collaborations with the Wachowski brother for The Matrix film trilogy. Having learnt the trumpet and showing a genuine interest in jazz, Davis studied music composition at UCLA under the tuition of Henri Lazarof and Albert Harris, with further guidance from Mark Snow and Joe Harnell during his search for work.

The collaboration continued onward during 1999 with The Matrix and the subsequent sequels The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
