Giuseppe Domenic Scarlatti (Born in Naples 26 October 1685 - Died in Madrid 23 July 1757) was an Italian harpsichordist and and composer,activeduring
the Baroque era.
Chronologically, he's classified as a baroque composer, but his music could also be referred to as part of the development of the classical style, and
he'swell-known and admired by later musicians, especially of the Romantic era. His most known work, written after his transfer to Spain, consists
of555sonatas for the harpsichord, however he also wrote numerous operas, sacred music, and ensemble organ music.
