Disarming Arctica is a five piece post-hardcore band hailing from the south shores of Long Island, New York. While the region has acquired the reputation of spawning a slew of great bands it has also become the infamous breeding ground for countless carbon copy clones, each imitating one another in their respective genres. Disarming Arctica is the product of the merging scenes, creating a band that exhibits vast attributes. Their roots spread across the hardcore/metal genres into the lighthearted indie rock world; Disarming Arctica encompasses the best of both worlds, creating a diverse new take on things.
