Damian Lewis is an English actor and musician. He's best known for his leading roles in the Showtime series Billions (2016-2023) and Homeland (2011-2020), with the latter earning him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama. As a musician, he released his debut album 'Mission Creep' in 2023 via Decca Records. Lewis was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2014 for "services to drama", and eventually promoted as Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2022 for "services to drama and charity".
