D-cent Jerks is made up of long time friends hailing from the Island of Puerto Rico. Their story began way back in High school when Lead
singer/Guitarist (Mike Mulet) and other co-founding members (Jose Camacho[Guitars] Samuel Martinez [Drums] and brothers; Nestor and
Dano Melendez [trombone's]) decided to make high energy punk and ska influenced music, although looking for their own sound and identity.
After a couple of small tours in the states, tireless performances on the island, line up changes in the bass department (Paul Ryan/ Current
Bass player) and some growing up DCJ has added a trumpet player [Harold] and have been known to play with a saxophonist from time to time.
Their shows consist of a high level of energy, loud brass section and non-stop head banging tunes.
