Chinese Football is a four-piece from Wuhan, China whose style of emo-infused indie rock is inspired by bands from the American Midwest like American Football, The Appleseed Cast and Algernon Cadwallader. Chinese Football consisted of Xu Bo (徐波) (vocals, guitar), Wang Bo (王博) (guitar), Li Lixin (李立鑫) (bass, backing vocals), and Xia Chao (夏超) (drums), until Zheng Zili became the band's new drummer during the recording of their 2017 EP Here comes a new challenger!
