Charlie Winston

Charlie Winston is a British singer-songwriter, and the brother of Tom Baxter. Born in Cornwall in 1978, he grew up in Bungay, Suffolk where his parents owned the King's Head Hotel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Winston) To date, Charlie has released three albums: Make Way (2007), Hobo (2009), and Running Still (2011). Winston includes themes of anti- consumerism, ambivalence towards religion, hints of socialist qualities, and commentary on cultural diversity/isolation recurringly in his music as a product of his personal experiences. Winston currently resides in Paris, France, and his experiences as a British transplant in France are noted as both comical and frustrating in songs like "Tongue Tied" (Hobo) and "Speak to Me" (Running Still).
