Blue Felix

Blue Felix is a six-piece American rock band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota assembled in 2004. Their name is derived from a 'certain dose' of the psychedelic drug, LSD, also known as 'Blue Felix', that was favored by the band in earlier years. In June 2010, the band embarked on a North American Tour, entitled the System of Freaks Tour, in support of Industrial/metal/hip hop act Mary Magdalan. The tour was hosted by a suicide girl from New Zealand. Blue Felix recorded "Sample of A Solution" an album co-produced by Sid Wilson (also known as DJ Starscream, #0) of Slipknot, at Winterland Studios and as of July 2010, are currently shopping it to record labels. In August 2010, the band played the Gathering of the Juggalos followed by a short North American tour that included one Canadian date supporting Sid Wilson's solo project 'Sid'. Notable as a personal project of Wilson's, the band are signed to his talent management company, 'Mach 2.8 Entertainment. They are also known to wear 'ghoulish make up and unique clothing on stage self-described as "thrift-store chic." « hide
