More rocking and intense than the debut,thesesongs translated into a wild storm of hard rock mayhem on the live front with Vasquez pullingdoubleduty on vex and drums. Shortly after thebandembarked on their first European tour with Versus the Stillborn Minded and Spancer as support.Ayear later the band was to hit the mainstage asa co-headlining act at the infamous Roadburn festival in Holland. Another European tour followedin2006 with Spanish doom band Glowopening.
In 2008 the band brought in Derek St. Holmes of Ted Nugent fame for guest vocals on a new album entitled "Death Ride" Sounding asstrongaseverSt. Holmes vocals brought the bands sound to a new and stronger level. Glowing reviews worldwide and strong album salesprompted thebandforyet another European tour this time with Mos Generator as support act. In 2009 Blood of the Sun continue to dominate onthe live frontandplansfor a new release by years end will keep this band in everyone's ears for a long time! « hide
