SEASON TO SEVER is the collaborative effort of many of the genre's most talented musicians. In the eye of the gathering storm, Gus Yoo spearheaded the creative vision which made the album possible. He brought together the perfect mix of talent to produce this debut effort. AzraelTrigger is not so much a solo project but a gathering of minds and energy. Contributors include Matt Collins (Hazmat, Neuroplague), James Francis (The Panic Lift, Symbiotic, Eye Kandy), Renee Ilardi (Despirator), Chris Death (Life Cried), Kaliss (Eye Kandy, Symbiotic) and DJ Drub. Each lend their strength and talent to this diverse and rich music. With this immense collective of experience, the album was carefully crafted. Each note, sequence and progression was tweaked to perfection. The end result is a satisfying experience meant to cleanse the spirit and offer hope for a brighter future. (And to tear up the dance floor)
Gus Yoo (Neuroplague, Symbiotic) pours out his soul, providing the lyrics and main vocals for this album. His tormented vocal style harkens back to an earlier era of harsh electronic music. Emotional and full of passion, Gus hopes to convey true feeling in the music, hoping to buck the trend of cold and remorseless vocals common in the scene.
