Azaghal is a raw finnish black metal band. It was formed in 1995 by guitarist Narqath and drummer Kalma (later known as Vrtx and V-Khaoz). Varjoherra joined the horde as a vocalist in 1997. The band was originally called Belfegor, then Nargoventor, and as of 1997, they go by the current name Azaghal. The band has so far released 8 studio albums by the stats of 2010, with their 9th, titled Nemesis, set for an autumn 2011 release. Even though Azaghal has had a relatively consistent line-up, Narqath remains as the only founding/older member, as Kalma departed in 2002, came back in 2004, and departed once more in 2006, while Varjoherra called it quits in 2010.
