As Hope Dies was a melodic metalcore band from La Habra, California. Initially forming in 1999 under the name In Reply, the band changed their name to As Hope Dies in October 2001 and released one EP and one full-length album before splitting up after only two years of activity in October 2003. Nearly a year later in August 2004, the band would reunite and release one more EP before splitting up once more after playing their last show in May 2005.
