Antiqua

Antiqua was a melodic death/doom metal band from Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. They originally formed as a thrash metal band named Sátrapas, after which they began playing melodic death/doom under the name Ars Antiqua (Latin for "Ancient Art") in 1995, later shortening it to just Antiqua ("Ancient") a few years later. The band released several demos before releasing their only album, 1999's In Red Nights..., and are considered defunct.
