A psychedelic blues-rock band from Texas, influenced by the 13th Floor Elevators, who split after two albums, because their guitarist, Rocky Hill, wanted to play more traditional blues, while the bassist, his brother, Dusty Hill, and drummer Frank Beard, wanted to play more rock music. So Dusty and Frank ended up forming ZZ Top with Billy Gibbons, the guitarist of another Texas psychedelic blues-rock band, The Moving Sidewalks.
