Against All Authority is a DIY ska-punk band formed in 1992 in Miami, Florida. Despite sharing the state, they are not a part of the Gainseville, Florida
punk scene which includes bands such as Against Me! and Hot Water Music. Rather, AAA plays a style of punk with significant ska influence, incredibly
dirty guitars, and gritty vocals. Horns are occasionally added to their songs. AAA's lyrical matter focuses on the life of the punk kid trying to fit in,
political issues, equality, the mainstreaming of the airwaves, and economic disparity.
