In March 2010 a meeting took place. Christoffer Frylmark and Simon Carlsson, not formerly acquainted with each other, but sharing a long
timepassion for the doom metal genre and particularly for Finnish doom metal, decided to form a band. Seeing how doom – as reinvented by
ReverendBizarre – had been overlooked by Swedes and being a major inspiration to us personally, our intention from the get-go was to write
slow andpowerful compositions in a similar style.

timepassion for the doom metal genre and particularly for Finnish doom metal, decided to form a band. Seeing how doom – as reinvented by
ReverendBizarre – had been overlooked by Swedes and being a major inspiration to us personally, our intention from the get-go was to write

Having a background in growling and guitar playing, Frylmark switched to bass to leave room for Carlsson on guitars and also decided to put
hissinging voice to the test. The drummer Rasmus Jansson joined to complete the lineup. He and Frylmark are also playing together in black
metalband Mortau and doom metal band Anguish. Simon Carlsson has previously been in avant-garde metal band Inception.
Lyrically we try to convey the feeling of unavoidable fate and take listeners down paths of thought they normally don’t venture out on. We
aredeeply interested in parapsychological subjects such as out-of-body experiences and astral projections as we feel they give us insight about
lifeafter death and how limited our minds are in their physical bodies. Also doom metal wouldn’t be what it is without dealing with themes of
miseryand suffering, themes relatable to everybody.
