A Canorous Quintet is a melodic death metal band from Kungsängen, Stockholm formed in 1991. The band was initially known as "A Canorous Quartet", but changed their name after the addition of another new member. They would split up in 1999, with all of their members going on to form This Ending. Several years later, A Canorous Quintet would reunite in 2016, and both bands are now considered active at the same time.
