Review Summary: A true classic of Russian deathcore, classic deathcore should sound exactly like this album.

At a time when their debut release blew teenage maximalism, this album was supposed to be the starting point for composing mature music. The guys' serious approach to recording vocals and instrumental parts is many times superior to their debut EP. The vocals are cleaner and the guitars have a lot of catchy melodies that will keep you coming back to play again and again.

The improvement affected not only the technical aspects of music, but also in writing lyrics for it. The texts are now darker, have religious references hidden behind artistic issues. They manage to make great ballads like "Architects Of Sanity" and "Locust Horde" listen in one breath.
The music is somewhat similar to the full-length album Molotov Solution of 2009. I don't know if that's bad or not, but I ***ing love it.

One More Victim became the first of the CIS countries to create a solid full-length album. I can't get my head around how such young musicians are able to create such deep music. It's a pity that the team disappeared from sight, but officially it has not yet been said about the breakup, so we hope for a grand comeback.
If they asked me what deathcore is, I would show them this album. Having calculated all of the above, we can say with full confidence that this album is a classic deathcore.

"Alea Jacta Est" The title of this intro is a phrase spoken by Gaius Julius Caesar in 49 BC as he was leading his army across the Rubicon River in Northern Italy. This phrase is used to emphasize the inevitability of events, to give a mystical shade of fatality to ongoing events.
In the song itself, in just one minute, it tells about the prophecy of the old oracle who saw the demon of the future in a vision. He informs that the treasure that everyone is trying to find is washed with the crimson blood of the fallen people. There will be a war between fathers and sons, the one who lights the star of death in time will receive immortality and open the gates of Genesis. Who has ancient blood in their veins
(meaning the demon) will be their barrier, grave, end.
Having finished off everyone, he silently sits on the throne, pointing with a finger with a ring.

"Damnation Of Eternity" continues the intro theme. Here we are talking about the fact that the message of the oracle was false, and he himself is a mercenary of Satan. Further, the demon leads the sent oracle to the Last Judgment, where he is sentenced to eternal damnation to madness and serving hell.

"Architects Of Sanity" is an intricate track with a very simple meaning. The faceless saviors personify some religious educators, the main protagonist on whose behalf the story goes - a lost soul, suffers from unbelief and it jars him / her. A gray-haired maiden comes and gives a box, opening it to the protagonist comes humility. The ending remains veiled, it is not completely clear what will happen next with gg, maybe it's just a dream, or maybe he died at all?🤔

"Mother Of All Sins" pokes fun at people's hypocritical attempts to be heroes when they really aren't.

"Last Hour" with the most primitive motive, which tells that we are all born to die. We need to appreciate every moment of our miserable life and use every opportunity, because it can no longer be repeated.

"Jack Ketch" is a story about the fact that we all live a lie. That's just a lie sooner or later comes out and the main liars will suffer heavy punishments without a drop of regret.

"Impelled By Revenge" has lyrics about us being outcasts in a world ruled by brutal dictators. They don't give a damn about anyone, they are ready to break through the corpses for their own benefit. Therefore, if you do not start fighting against their regime, then you will continue to be oppressed further. In other words, the title of the song "Motivated by Vengeance" suits it perfectly.

"Watch My Ascent" is a kind of motivation to go your own way despite the reproaches of other people. You choose your own destiny, you must remain true to yourself, otherwise you will become as petty and mean as others.

"Locust Horde" conveys that faith does not depend on material values.
And the heretics
(adherents of other views on faith)
corrupt the minds of those who believe. Each of us must live with our truth in our hearts, despite the empty teachings of "holy" hypocrites.

"Dominion" is about the end of the world. The way the Son of Heaven descends, carrying executions, delivering Hell and the plague, and time stops.
The last line of the song "Armageddon is my name" is a direct reference to the final battle between good and evil at the end of time in the Bible.
The lyrics of the song also talked about a sea of black flags that came ashore. A reference to the city of Megiddo, which controls the passage of the Seaway, and the adjacent Jezreel Valley, for more than 3 thousand years, have witnessed many historical battles.

For fans: Suffokate, Molotov Solution, Calmed By The Tides Of Rain,
A Bloodbath In Boston, My Bitter End,
He The Deceiver

Advantages and disadvantages:
+ Adherence to the canons of the genre
+ Melodic guitar riffs
+ Machine gun blast bits
+ Dark and philosophical text
+ Improved vocals
- Some songs are reloaded

Basic moments:
Architects Of Sanity
mother of all sins
Last Hour
Jack Ketch
Locus Horde
