A strong follow-up to Action is Go, which is their peak. This has some great stuff but not quite as consistently great. After this, a patch of weaker albums, until a renaissance with Gigantoid and especially Clone.

First Fu Manchu album I listened to, so I'm a little biased. Awesome grooves, nice tone, gotta love the vocals. Boogie Van is damn good.

This is the album that truly exemplifies Fu Manchu's desert-drivin', pot-smokin', drug-dealin' rock and roll, before they began to lean more towards pop. There isn't a single shitty song on the album. I give Fu Manchu every regard, stopping just short of sucking their dicks, for this one.
