Review Summary: Explore your musical desire, might be Killharmonic new spell. As result, they got one valuable short step toward progressive death. Jokingly, I crown 'em as Killharmonic The Explorer...

Suppressed Denied Controled comprises four tracks with 26 minutes long. Yeah, Killharmonic played what we consider as progressive death. Though in my past review (Hatred Diminished In Dismembered Head album) I ever said that I'm not in 'a such good mood' listening to progressive death, but sometimes listen to progressive music certainly needs good mood and really adequate time. Even you would not be able to enjoy Opeth in the way of 'pass and go'.

What we got here, is a quitely technical sound, unique arrangement, and sometimes unpredictable breaks. The album also has plenty guitar riffs. Innu (lead guitar), is the man behind this crazy sound. Along with Matto (vocals), Billy (drums), Deni (bass), and an additional player on rhythm guitar (Yeri?), they generously played and explored to the deep of their musical desire. They controlled tempo as they want, and they did it well. First track Seems Mean nothing, isn't a wise choice to be opening track. Okay, the song actually is good enough if you listen it carefully and patiently. I myself think that Suppressed Denied Controled or Dark Path should be the first track. Those two songs what we often shallowly
describe as 'kicking-ass' and 'punching in the face'. Oh hell, however this is just personal taste, I guess. Furthermore, don't forget Bloodshed Murder song. Firstly, we'll hear a slightly slow melodic rhythm. Then, oh ghost! Bloodshed Murder is really fast and brutal. Killer rhythm! Don't be fooled around by its first 45 seconds play.

Now, the end of story. Suppressed Denied Controled EP is solid release. Awesome stuff! Killharmonic has changed a lots in musical inclination, but still in range of death metal. If you got a listen their first two stuffs, you will realise. This EP album could be Killharmonic first step in progressive death. Personally, I expect a little more special touch from Matto low growling vocals, anyhow he fitted enough to the music. So let it be! This EP is fine introduction to following LP Human Race Disgrace (2010). Three songs except Seems Mean Nothing are included in the LP. So, if you love this EP, you should prepare yourself for LP Human Race Disgrace.

sorry bro, there's no fire extinguisher here... just choose; a gallon of gasoline, a lighter with a

cigarette as bonus, or you'll pick a magic spell of the rain? lol
