| 4.0 excellent | Brabiz | June 6th 25 | I think this is a really great hardcore leaning punk album. Goo Goo Dolls is one of my favorite bands, yet I have always found Robby?s vocals a tough pill to swallow. Not on these early releases though, I think his voice is a perfect match to the energy and attitude of the music. With John?s vocals adding a great deal of texture and variety to his brief appearances. I definitely prefer a middle ground in their sounds, the more alternative and grunge influenced stuff with the sappy balladry of later releases. But I think this early stuff deserves more respect. The band was crafting energetic, catchy music that burrows into your subconscious

| 3.0 good | JonEthan | September 16th 15 | The Goos are still pretty rough and unpolished on this one, and are very much still in the snotty
metal phase of their career. If you can dig Robby's vocals, this is a pretty fun listen, though.
Recommended: Up Yours, Down on the Corner, Road to Salinas, James Dean
